How do I get started

It depends on you and how much activity you had in your life. If you were, accustom to being a couch potato you want to start out at a slow pace. Walk for around ten minutes each day until you feel you can increase your activity up to fifteen minutes.
You can use the ten-minute scheme until you feel that it is not enough. The goal is to work up to seven days of walking. This walking fitness scheme will improve your health. Keep it on a down low and gradually work into a moderate workout. Do not push you to do more than you can do. Most people give up workouts after pushing self. You want to work with your body. Your body will tell you how much it can tolerate. Listen carefully to your body and you will walk to fitness without giving up.
